Commissioning artists and working with communities to explore connections between contemporary art, health and public space.

Artist Support and Development

We produce projects and events that connect artists and communities to develop participation and encourage critical dialogue and knowledge sharing about ‘health’.
Our work is located in and inspired by the port and coastal town of Felixstowe in Suffolk: it’s history of wellbeing, rest and convalescence underpins the thematics we explore in our programme.
By delivering our work through ‘borrowed infrastructure’ - without a gallery and often in public space - we aim to keep community participation at the core of what we do, stay nimble and responsive in changing times and maintain a low carbon footprint.
What We Do
Artist Commissions
We commission emerging and mid-career artists to develop projects beyond the gallery, where we believe the impact of art to be most potent.
Community Collaboration
We work in partnership with Level Two Youth Project to develop co-creative skills, education and confidence with children and young adults.
Artist Support
We support artists through 1-1 mentoring and run a programme of talks (Studio Socials) and events (Slow Socials) to aid knowledge-sharing and networking
