Creative Work with Young People

Across 2017 and 2021, we worked in partnership with local youth service provider Level Two Youth Project. Led by artist educator Louise Stratford, Pier Projects offered a variety of workshops and projects aimed at supporting Felixstowe’s young people to develop creative skills and confidence and make connections between art, health and wellbeing and their locality.

From one-off artist-led workshops, intensive week-long residencies during the Summer holidays, to continual engagement and support with their art room, the work increasingly became co-produced with those who participated. Level Two now offers Arts Award and continues to encourage arts-based learning.
